In a major move to boost digital inclusion and meet the growing demand for robust home broadband, MTN Ghana has launched a new suite of speed-based Unlimited Fibre packages.
The refreshed offerings are designed to provide households across the country with faster connectivity, greater flexibility, and superior value.
As data demands surge, MTN’s new plans offer impressive speeds of up to 100Mbps, 300Mbps, and 500Mbps. These high-speed tiers are engineered to seamlessly support multiple high-bandwidth activities at once, such as remote work, virtual learning, ultra-HD video streaming, online gaming, and smart home automation.
Available to both new and existing subscribers, the plans feature completely unlimited data alongside highly flexible subscription models tailored to diverse household budgets.
Richard Acheampong, the Chief Home Officer of MTN Ghana, emphasized that these upgraded packages were developed directly in response to evolving customer lifestyles and the rising dependency on high-speed home internet.
”Home Internet connectivity has become an essential part of everyday life,” Acheampong stated. “Whether it is supporting children with online learning, enabling professionals to work remotely, helping entrepreneurs run their businesses, or allowing families to stay connected and entertained, customers need a service that can keep pace with their lifestyles.”
He further noted that the launch aligns with a major company milestone. “As MTN marks 30 years of impact in Ghana, we are committed to ensuring that every home has access to reliable, high-speed internet that empowers people to live, learn, and work better.”
Under the newly revised pricing structure, the entry-level plan starts at GHS 299 per month for speeds up to 100Mbps. Households requiring more bandwidth can opt for the GHS 444 monthly plan for up to 300Mbps, while power users can access top-tier speeds of up to 500Mbps for GHS 999 per month.
To sweeten the deal, MTN is incentivizing long-term commitments with tiered discounts. Customers who sign up for a quarterly subscription will receive a 5% discount, while semi-annual and annual subscribers will enjoy savings of 7% and 10% respectively.
Existing and prospective users can easily purchase or upgrade to these new packages digitally via the MyMTN App, MTN’s Self-Service Portal, or by using the USSD shortcode *5057#.
This strategic rollout reinforces MTN Ghana’s ongoing mission to deliver innovative connectivity solutions that adapt to modern household needs, ultimately driving both nationwide digital inclusion and broader economic growth.
