Residents of Nsuapemso in the Fanteakwa South District are raising concern over the stalled Agenda 111 hospital project, saying delays are blocking access to critical healthcare.
Speaking to journalist community members said construction began under the previous administration but has seen no progress under the current government.
The uncompleted facility, meant to serve thousands in the municipality, remains non-operational and is now overgrown with weeds.
Residents say thieves have broken into the site to steal electrical cables and other materials. They fear continued neglect will cause further deterioration and loss of value.
The community stressed that completing and equipping the hospital would cut long travel distances for medical care and help reduce the area’s high mortality rate.
They are appealing to government and stakeholders to prioritize the project.Agenda 111 was launched to build district hospitals nationwide and improve healthcare delivery in underserved areas. For Nsuapemso residents, that promise remains unfulfilled.
