The Minister for work, Housing and Water Resources has said that, he accepts the responsibilities that come with the new role as he take over the ministry.
He questioned that, why has the Cote Devore been able to complete 50,000 Housing projects in the last 10 years whilst Ghana is still struggling with 5, 000 since 2012.
According to him, the Ministries mandate is to affect the live of Ghanaians positively.
Hon Ahmed Ibrahim, Thanked the president for the confidence reposted in him and expressed his appreciation for not sacking him but rather giving him another ministry to lead and champion the reset agenda of the government.
Meanwhile, Hon Gilbert Kenneth Agyei, the outgoing minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources and now the Defence minister encouraged his successor Hon Ahmed Ibrahim to continue his works and take care of the effort of the staff and the support lending him during his tenure.
